Dr. O.C. Ferrell

Dr. Ferrell is the James T. Pursell, Sr. Eminent Scholar in Ethics and Director of the Center for Ethical Organizational Cultures in the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University. Dr. Ferrell is Past President of the Academy of Marketing Science. He received the AMS Cutco/Vector Distinguished Educator Award. Dr. Ferrell was AMS, V.P. Publications and during his time helped to launch AMS Review. He also chaired the committee that created the AMS Code of Publishing Ethics. Dr. Ferrell is a Distinguished Fellow at AMS. He is Hes co-author of several leading textbooks and hase h   n  nearly 45,000 citations on Google Scholar in leading marketing journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, AMS Review, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing as well as others. He is co-author of leading textbooks including Business Ethics, 13th edition, Business & Society, 8th edition, Introduction to Business and Marketing Strategy. He serves as an expert witness in high-profile ethics, legal and marketing cases. More recently he served as an expert witness for the AL Attorney Generals office and GA Attorney Generals office on opioid litigation. Dr. Ferrell is also a member of the Editorial Board for Responsible Research in Business & Management (RRBM).
