The Food Culture Trailblazers Course

A free course designed to explore food culture and how it might be used to address preferences, mindsets, and aspirations.

Together we'll explore:

✔ The fundamental definition and framework of food culture.

✔ Deep dive into values, beliefs, identities, norms, rituals, symbols, and labels that shape food cultures.

✔ The role of social institutions; and the core elements for designing food culture interventions.

Course outline

Module 1: Defining food culture

 

Module 2: Understanding food culture: values, beliefs, identities and norms

 

Module 3: Understanding food culture: labels, symbols, rituals

 

Module 4: Shaping food culture: institutions and Levers of Change

 

Module 5: Shaping food culture: implementation and championing

Commitment

Duration: 5-weeks 

 

Mode: Online, flexible learning. Modules are released each week on a Sunday and have to be completed by the end of the day on Thursday ahead of Friday online group discussions.

 

Group discussions: live virtual group call every Friday at 2-3pm Central European Time to reflect on key takeaways.

Note: To receive a certificate, participants must complete all modules, end-of-module surveys, and attend all Friday sessions.
